Biography

As a graphic designer I have my roots in fine arts, specifically in interdisciplinary media. This means I have always been flexible in creating in whichever carrier suited my idea. And more specifically it means that I get to expand my expression and include the most elusive medium of all: sound or music.

When it comes to creating I have a very strong drive to connect to larger stories around the human condition, from the philosophical to the psychological. I believe in creating worlds that connect through shared experience. Any medium, be it music or film or graphic design then becomes a potential carrier of that expression.

Through curiosity, research I envision my journey into the human condition and seek to instill a sense of wonder and the fatality of our human condition.

Even though the start of my visual career lies in fine arts, over the years I've developed skills in illustration, animation and music videos.

Nowadays I make art where I can and work on various commissions in motion graphic design (mostly broadcast) & graphic design (for music artists & small independent labels). For this I use both the pencil as I create with Cinema4D or After Effects.

The medium is merely the carrier, I love to work on all manner of visual solutions; from motion to graphic design or illustration. Whether that be for film, music, festivals, products, art projects, architecture, I like it all!

This attitude  landed me in various other worlds like that of the post production of commercials, TV-programmes, music videos & motion pictures.
